Native Education @ CoE

The College of Education at the University of Utah is dedicated to promoting American Indian/Alaska Native2 excellence in various academic fields, in particular education. We believe in working collaboratively with American Indian/Alaska Native peoples, notably the eight distinct sovereign nations in Utah, to further their educational goals and self-determination

 

Mestizo Arts & Activism

Dr. Leticia Alvarez Gutiérrez, Education, Culture & Society Associate Professor, and the collective she advises, Mestizo Arts and Activism will be recognized as a 2016 recipient for the University of Utah Transforming U: Beacons of Excellence Award.
