College of Education

2024-2025 Annual Appeal

coe-graduateThe touchstones contained in our Education is Utah 2030 Strategic Plan have enlivened us. They remind us of our “why,” the students and future educators who will shape lives and lead to the betterment of communities.

We are deeply grateful to those alumni and donors whose gifts allow us to benefit our students and community, and help us realize our vision of being a leading college of education with unsurpassed societal impact.

In 2024-2025, we are raising money to benefit students in three strategic ways.

As the Dean’s Innovation Fund enters its second year, we continue to channel it toward particularly leading-edge initiatives, such as undergraduate student research, student travel to present at and attend conferences, and collaborative community engagement projects.

Although the Student Emergency Hardship Fund was created in 2020 to support students during the COVID-19 pandemic, students continue to experience need in this area. Life doesn’t stop just because a student enrolls in classes. Financial emergencies can quickly derail an academic plan; the hardship fund can help these students persist to graduation and complete their degree.
