RISE helps CoE professors with their research, training, and community involvement. Our services are for tenure- and career-line faculty.


How We Help


Supporting CoE faculty research in terms of quality and innovation.

Creating an atmosphere of sharing research and using it to make a difference.

Encouraging teamwork and cooperation.

Articulating how CoE faculty research benefits the U and wider educational field.

Involving faculty in local and global events to showcase their research.

Building partnerships  to make research more impactful and collaborative.

Seeking funding to support research and training that align with faculty, department, and CoE goals.

Ensuring effective communication and alignment with University of Utah grants and contracts standards.

Working with the Office of Sponsored Projects to submit research and training proposals.

Assisting in creating proposals, including organizing ideas and budgets.

Approving proposals, including budgets, for sending to potential funding sources inside and outside the university.

Helping Principal Investigators and CoE Departments meet the demands of funding groups and U guidelines.
