Master of Education (M.Ed.)
M.Ed. students delve into the heart of education. The program provides the opportunity to explore educational policy and practice in a myriad of settings. If you are interested in issues related to fairness in our education system, the M.Ed. is for you—whether you are an aspiring doctoral student, teacher, or administrator.
M.Ed. with Secondary Licensure
This program is a partnership between ECS and the Urban Institute of Teacher Education. It prepares you to thrive as an educator in Salt Lake’s multifaceted classrooms. Your coursework will explore community partnerships, the art of urban teaching, and linguistic variety. We want to equip you with tools to foster fair, yet challenging, learning environments.
Ph.D.
This program will transform you into a scholar. You'll be equipped with intellectual and research skills for advanced study. Dive deep into research methodologies and disciplinary training. In roughly five years, your journey ends in a dissertation. It marks your mastery of theoretical and research issues. Join us, and redefine the future of education.
