Kimberly Miller Carson
Past College of Education Advancement Board Member
Kim graduated cum laude in Organizational Communications from the University of Utah (BA 1982). She had a successful career in sales and training for NCR Corporation and the John Harland Company. After her two children were born, Kim switched her attention to volunteering in her children’s schools and for other education-oriented organizations. She served as Executive Director of the Park City Education Foundation and then served for eight years on the Park City Board of Education, including four years as President. Kim was actively involved in the Utah School Boards Association and served as an interest-based facilitator for the District. Kim is now a member of the Summit County Council, serving a four-year term. She is a member of the Utah Association of Counties Board of Directors.
Kim continues to be actively involved in promoting education and providing scholarship and loan opportunities for women of all ages through a philanthropic educational organization. Particularly with the building of the new College of Education facility and associated curricular endeavors, Kim is excited to be involved in the promotion and support of the College of Education through the Advancement Board.
