Teacher Academy

Mission and Purpose

The mission of the Utah Teacher Academy is to increase recruitment, satisfaction, and retention of undergraduate majors from enrollment to graduation in teacher education at the University of Utah. We develop future educators through a longitudinal experience that integrates academic excellence, early clinical practice, leadership development, mentorship, community engagement, and educator workforce pathways.

The purposes of Teacher Academy Activities are to increase belonging and professional identity within the College of Education.
