Sandra Leu Bonanno, Graduate of the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Wins AERA Social Justice Dissertation Award

Former ELP Grad Wins Award

Sandra Leu Bonanno has won the 2021 American Educational Research Association's (AERA) Social Justice Dissertation Award. Sandra is a graduate of the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy. Her Chair, Dr. Irene Yoon, mentored Sandra throughout the writing and defense of the dissertation and Dr. Deb Palmer nominated her for the award. Sandra is an Assistant PRofessor at Metropolitan State University (MSU) Denver.
