The University of Utah invites nominations and applications for the position of dean of the College of Education. The dean will be a tenured professor serving as the college’s chief academic and administrative officer. Duties include oversight of academic programs, fundraising, recruiting/retention of outstanding and diverse faculty, staff, and students; and communicating within the university, and to the community-at-large, the goals and achievements of the college and the importance of education in a dynamic and changing society.
The dean will serve a five-year renewable term to begin July 2020 and will report to the senior vice president for Academic Affairs.
Department of Educational Leadership & Policy
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The ELP department seeks a colleague whose research examines
K12 educational leadership and policy-related issues with a focus on equity, diversity,
inclusion, and social justice in schools and other educational contexts.
POSITION RANK: This is a regular, full-time tenure track position with appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.
Department of Educational Psychology
The Department of Educational Psychology (http://ed-psych.utah.edu/) in the College of Education at the University of Utah invites applications for an Assistant Professor (Clinical) position in the Counseling and Counseling Psychology (CCP) Program. This will be a full-time, non-tenure track (career line faculty), renewable, 9-month appointment (16 August 2019–15 May 2020) in the Counseling and Counseling Psychology (CCP) Program within the Department of Educational Psychology in the College of Education.
