Department of Educational Psychology

The Department of Educational Psychology ( in the College of Education at the University of Utah invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level with primary responsibilities in Measurement in the Learning Sciences program. The Learning Sciences program offers undergraduate and graduate instruction in the areas of learning, cognition, and educational psychology. Faculty members conduct basic or applied research in their area of expertise, and also provide support to the department’s other graduate degree programs in Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, and Reading and Literacy. The University of Utah seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position in the learning sciences focused on STEM learning in museums and informal contexts. This is a joint hire between the College of Education and the Natural History Museum of Utah (NHMU), both at the University of Utah. The Educational Leadership and Policy department in the College of Education, seeks a colleague whose primary scholarly expertise is K-12 educational leadership with specific interest and expertise in school improvement and school reform. Related areas of expertise may be organizational leadership (school or district) for improvement, teacher development and support, professional learning for instructional improvement, data for decision making, reform implementation for school improvement, research-based practices for school improvement, or school improvement science.
