Dr. AJ Metz receives Early Career Teaching Award

AJ MetzDr. AJ Metz, Assistant Professor in the Educational Psychology Department received a University of Utah Early Career Teaching Award.

At the U of U, up to four awards per year are given to Tenure-line or Career-line faculty with at least three full years but less than eight years of service at the University of Utah. Early Career Teaching Awards are given to outstanding young faculty members who have made significant contributions to teaching at the University of Utah. These individuals have demonstrated distinction in teaching by incorporating activities that result in increased learning by students, such as the development of new methods or other curricular innovation.

Awardees will be recognized at an Early Career Teaching Symposium at the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence during spring semester.
