Kirsten Butcher selected as a University of Utah Presidential Scholar
Kirsten Butcher, Educational Psychology associate professor has been selected as a
University of Utah Presidential Scholar. The Presidential Scholar has been created
to support the work of exceptionally promising mid-career faculty in academic units
across the main campus. The purpose of the award is to promote retention of these
talented individuals who are significant contributors to scholarship, education, and
outreach at the University of Utah. The Presidential Scholar awards provide funding
each year for three years. These funds may be used at the discretion of the faculty
member to support her or his scholarly, teaching, and/or outreach activities. Funds
need not be fully used each academic year and may be carried over from one year to
the next.
