Drs. Sharlene Kiuhara and Aaron Fischer were selected to attend the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) Summer Research Training Institute
Drs. Sharlene Kiuhara (Special Education) and Aaron Fischer (Educational Psychology) were selected from a large pool of applicants across the country to attend the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) Summer Research Training Institute on Single-Case Intervention Research Design and Analysis in Madison, WI from July
20-24, 2015. The purpose of the training was to increase the national capacity of
education researchers to conduct single-case intervention studies that have scientifically
credible methodology and current approaches to analysis. The faculty providing the
training were leading authorities in the field of education research and single case
methodology and analysis and included Drs. Thomas R. Kratochwill, Joel R. Levin, Rob
Horner, John Ferron, Wendy Machalicek, Erin Barton, and William Shadish.
