Linda Dixon

Linda Dixon taught biology and chemistry for forty years in high schools and community colleges in the Sacramento, California area. She is a retired Professor of Biology from American River College, and also is an active member of the Foundation Board at ARC which is dedicated to raising money to benefit needy ARC students. Linda won The Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Mathematics Teaching from the White House in 1990. In 2012 she created The Dianne Asmus Bettis and Norman and Blanche Asmus Endowed Scholarship Fund in the College of Education here at the University of Utah in memory of her dear friends.
